The media is buzzing about the split, but Priyanka Chopra Jonas isn’t acting like she’s hurting.
The newest Jonas brother, 27, recently flew to India, where his family members reside, and returned Sunday, with a smiling, bright-eyed mother on the red carpet at a grand opening of a luxury hotel complex.
Chopra Jonas also apparently flew to India despite just getting back from a very important business trip to New York, where she met with Mark Wahlberg and Angela Bassett, co-stars in his upcoming movie “Mile 22.”

Chopra Jonas, 34, whose wedding to Nick Jonas is set for later this month, has hinted that the past few weeks have been difficult.
But the actress took the time to chit-chat with some members of the media outside the hotel, only hours after the New York Post broke the split news. She asked them not to hang on her every word, and told them to delete her tweets.
In response to paparazzi snapping photos of her as she exited her car, she quipped, “please leave me alone.”
On June 27, she had tweeted, “The most beautiful thing in the world is your mind. Please focus on your thoughts. … Whoever you choose to follow, just follow yours.”
And the day before that, she had tweeted, “That which we cannot think out loud, we think out loud.”
Sources told the New York Post the couple’s relationship was on the rocks and that Chopra Jonas had been unfaithful.

“They’ve been spending a lot of time apart lately and Nick is fed up with her not living up to her reputation,” said the source. “He’s told her she’s in over her head. It’s clear to him she’s not meant for the spotlight and has little time for him.”
The sibling couple were first linked in October after meeting at the Met Gala.

Outspoken about her Indian heritage, Chopra Jonas stunned in an anti-sexual harassment ad for UN Women. But she has been taking questions about her love life for years on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
“She will be open on Twitter,” Jonas told ET in March. “If I ask her a question, she will answer it publicly. If she doesn’t, she doesn’t.”
Chopra Jonas and her former fiance, Nick Jonas, share many of the same friends, including actress Nicky Hilton.

The singer, who proposed to Chopra Jonas last summer, told ET at the Met Gala, “I think both of us would like to get married, but, you know, who knows?” He added, “Maybe later this year. Who knows!”
